This is just something to think about before the next meeting or to comment on if you can't make it
Quite a few of the films we're interested in for next season will cost @£70-80 to screen. There has been some interest in the idea of putting up the entry price to £3 for the next season which would cover this sort of film as well as paying for the venue.
A possible suggestion is £3 entry/ £2 unwaged or student/ £5 membership.
Will paying £3 put people off coming?
The idea of screening films we don't have to pay for is great and would keep the price down to £2 to cover the venue but unfortunately the films that have been suggested are in the main pricey and they're really good films that would be brilliant to show.
Comments on this would be very useful - am very happy and prepared to be wildly contradicted/ accused of being a merciless moneygrabber

Hi Susan,
Just wondering if you had much feedback on the door at the Gleaners as to the price rise?
